About me

I am an experienced leader, coach and operations professional.

I can look back on a 12+ years track record in industry operations, service and quality. My footprint are multi-national tech, service and manufacturing companies - all during challenging times. I am a well trained, pragmatic industrial engineer with a broad expertise in operational excellence, lean and quality. I initiated and led change programmes from department to company level. Going through and observing various leadership transitions, I learned, adopted and perfected principles and practices for myself and my units to stay on top of their game. For quite a time, I have been gladly sharing my learnings with my coaching clients. That gave me additional refinement and confirmation. 

 

I clearly felt the need for change first-hand 

First, developing people and organisations was part of my job; later-on, it became my top priority; finally, I was asked to share my insights in coaching settings. We in our industry too often rely on structures and habits that under-emphasise personal development and that bet on mechanistic solutions to relational problems. Such cultures hinder performance, do not make people happy and definitely keep talent off our operations sites. I am convinced, we have to change the way we lead and collaborate compared to what we are commonly used to. This is pre-requisite to gain solutions for our most demanding issues. 

I support industry leaders by conviction 

In my opinion, human work is of highest value for our society. That goes far beyond the pure funding of survival. Our industry accommodates countless jobs. There, leaders shape the circumstances in which people work; they impact how much growth and greatness their people bring back home. Same time, our industry is obligatory when society needs technical solutions at scale to solve issues of relevance. Mankind’s greatest inventions took whole branches to evolve and innovate. If a Great Leader feels the calling to leave a mark, I am happy to support.
